9/16" will fit your bike. If you are going to use flats check out the Steve Hamilton Animals. You can them locally for $58 for the alloy sealed bearing version. I use these with my Etnies and they stick like glue.

It helps to have a pedal wrench. Depending on the size of the wrench flats, though, a crescent wrench may be fine - I've always gotten away with it.

One side is reverse threaded. I can never remember which, but if you look at the new set of pedals, they should be stamped "left" and "right" on the spindle, so it's easy to figure out.

Great store, been around a long time. I used to race BMX for them years ago. Very nice people, but more known in the BMX community. Pedals are real easy to install, just remember one side is standard thread and the other is reverse thread.

k thx btw doug with this crappy weather i think MTB is on postpone lol i fixed my brakes the rear drums they cylinder and spring broke so i had to replace it completely

Good to hear you got the ride fixed. This weather sucked, but at least we didn't get as much rain as expected.
