So yesterday I made my first climbing practise ever. The road to the top of the hill was a bit over 300 meters long and the elevation difference between the starting point and the finish line was about 54 meters. The road had everything; naked cliffs, mud, sand, grass, etc. I managed to climb that hill 10 times. We had to also ride 20 kilometers to get to the hill so it was pretty good exercise for us all.

So, what do you think how often should I do these uphill-exercises? Once a week maybe?

It felt goooood to climb the hill so many times, I was guessing at first that I could climb it 4 times max.

Glad to hear you beat your goal.

What's your weakness for mountain biking? That's the skill I would spend the most time working on.

How often you perform the exercises depends on where you are in your training plan, and how many other difficult days you have in your training microcycles.
