got a 04 super T and It has a clicking noise, sounds like its from the ssv side. Is this normal or is the spring or somthing got play in it? you can hear it when you lift the front of the ground about 6 inches and drop it, or even when I ride I can notice it, any Idea? thanks,

mine Drop Off w/ SSV has the same sound, my buddy's Drop Off has it too, i think it ok
solution....wafer-thin shims

I think all super t's have this. some of us are more sensitive to clicks and clanks than others, thus not everyone who rides this forks notices or cares. my friend has an '02 and we hate clinks and clanks. what we found is that there is a tiny amount of space between the top of the rebound clickers and the fork leg cap. if you take the preload knob off, then lift and drop the fork and put your fingers on top of the rebound clikckers, you should be able to feel it. solution is a washer cut from a beer can, slip it under there and your ready to go, or better yet if you can find a real washer that's thin enough. funny that they can't seem to fix this after years of making the fork...but it really is just a matter of the rebound rod assembly being a couple thou. too long IMO.

YEP, I found that on the hsvc side, the cart was moving and clunking, called Marz about it and they sent me a shim kit. That was fixed, now this is a little different sound from the ssv side, I had the same sound from my DJ too, but didnt care then, (was getting rid of it) was just wondering if it will eventually be a problem.
