Anyone else worked through this by doing anything other than replacing the whole mess? When I pull the the level, about half way through the stroke and under pretty hard pressure, there is a click in the lever and then the stroke continues. It doesn't seem to affect braking power too much. A clue: It disappears during long descents when presumable the system is getting heated?

My sales manager had the exact problem, and he got it warantied by shimsno they sent him an entire new brake
