City tire for 29er? - Looking for input

I'm looking for a reasonably slick city tire for my 29er. I bought the bike for an urban commuter, and I've been enjoying the Race King tires it came with, but it's time to move on.

I haven't come upon many options, and I'm reluctant to see if a 700cc tire can really fit on a 29er wheel: I've gotten many mixed messages about this.

Also, I run tubeless on ZTR Arch wheels. In plan to run the new tires tubeless, too.

Thanks!

700c, 28inch and 29 inch will fit. It seems which of those three a tyre is called depends on its width. It's the "622" thats important that is the rim diameter.

Wide I like Big Apples 2 or 2.35
"Narrow" Continental Sport Contact . here

Look for Cyclo cross tires and Touring tires

It is the width of the rim that determines how narrow a tire you can fit.

700C road/touring/commuter tires is not an issue. Using them without inner tubes can be.
I am too curious about city tires on spare 29er wheels for city riding. I am interested in Schwalbe Marathon Racer 700x35C or 700x38C. Has anybody had experience in mounting these tires TUBELESSLY? Please, share your experience.
Scwalbe Big Apple?
Love my Big Apples, give you a little suspension which can be nice on bumpy pavement. Also great for beaches if you go low psi.
