Anyone up for a canyon ride at the oh so inflexible time of 6:00 pm tomorrow?

Conditions should be perfect with all the rain

Brokebacks as well as non-brokebacks are encouraged to apply. We only discriminate against those with no bicycles.

Inflexible?

I know from reading some past posts here there seems to be some big issue with ride start times. I get off work at 6 and I work about 5 minutes away so I am out for the inflexible time. Maybe if I ride fast enough I can catch up.:)
As a "Brokeback" member (whatever the hell that means) we did that exact ride yesterday. Conditions are about the best I have ever seen so you guys will have a blast. My legs are toast and I have a race this weekend, otherwise I would join you. (I know excuses, excuses) Have fun and hopefully you will not have to dodge any thunderstorms.

6 is flexible. I was just referring to previous posts where someone called a group ride inflexible and a brokeback mtn. club
i will

try to be there as close to 6 as possible. sometimes I get out a little later. If you don't want to wait thats cool I will follow. Hopefully I will see you around 6 and anyone else that is going.

You will probably catch me. I am currently trying to get back into good shape, and I am not quite there yet.

I will be on a black and grey Giant VT2
lightning

I bailed when I got to the beginning of the chutes. I saw a couple hits of lightning and decided to try again some other day. Did you leave right when I got there? I had a green subaru with a blue hardtail on top.
I don't recall seeing a green subaru, I left the lot close to 6pm. When the lightning hit I was climbing Gold Camp, & about 10 riders ahead of me turned around and cruised by. I decided to wait a few minutes, and the lightning was quickly gone. It was nice after that.

I thought the trail was in terrible shape. In places it was packed down, but some spots were sandier than usual, as if the rain has washed tons of gravel onto certain spots in the trail. But mostly it was the huge ruts, which were never fun to find around a corner

The trail is ALMOST as bad as it was when it hadn't rained in a month. Except Columbine, it was almost rut free & very packed.
