Yesterday at The bottom of the Chutes (Stratton Open Space) there was a guy taking a survey for the City Parks and Rec. The survey (according to the guy) was designed to see who is destroying and who is protecting the trails there. I took the survey and I think everyone who rides there should also do it. Im not sure if he will be there today or ever again for that matter, but I feel it was a very important questionaire for MTBrs who like trails like The Chutes. Many questions were specifically geared towards routing out mountian bikes. The guy ask me, at the end, if I think a "bike only" trail would be an asset for us? I said yea, but only because a "bike only" trail is better than no trail at all. Please take time to do this survey for all Fat Tire enthusiasts in Col Spgs.
