I have not rode up Chumash for about 6 months. I love the technical challenge of climbing the hard spots on Chumash. But after riding up 3/4 the way up I was very saddened by the amount of dirt put into the hard tech parts.

Is the rest of the trail to the top like that too...a ll handicapped accessible??

Rode/b'hiked up it a couple weeks ago. Lots of rubble for your trouble on the upper portion of Chumash

they covered up some things midway it seems but the top has gotten more techy over the year.

Did some work there today...
(as usual for that group) what they did was minimal and will wash away from the rain we will have this weekend.
Seems they never do the heavy tread work and dig deep enough to create rolling dips the correct way so erosion is prevented - But that's "hard" and takes a strong back.
Just spreading dirt on top of rolling rock areas is a short-easy temporary thing to do.
