Do any of you live in Colorado that own a Surface or Rootdown size M/L or L that would be willing to let me check it out? I cant find one anywhere and I am almost decided on my next new bike but without riding a Surface I just cant pony up that kind of money. Those in the US will understand just how impossible it is to find a bike shop with one of these.

How tall are you. I am 6' and would go with M/L. Also buy direct from Chromag.

That looks like it is set up for a 6' 4" rider. I would never go longer than a 50mm stem. Bad angle on the pic

I rode a bike the other day with very similar geometry to the surface that had a 24.5 ETT and a 70mm stem and it was perfect in fact it still was a little light in the front end but in a good way. I was thinking M/L until I rode the other bike now I am thinking L. I too am 6' but have 35" inseam and 27" arms.

Anybody know what kind of thru axle works for the 12x142 dropouts on the Surface?
Dt Swiss axle won't thread.

Islander....that's a great looking Surface. I have the same frame and color on order from Chromag. Want to share more pics Where did you buy the Enve stickers? I'm trying to decide if I'm going to peel my stickers off or do some sort of green or maybe something else. What size frame?
