Hi,

since I'm searching for pics of Samurai and Trl, in L size, I thought I could open a thread so that people can show their gorgeous canadian steel hardtails!

Come on, post your Chromags (and please report model and size ;) )!

I want a Chromag but could not justify spending that much on a frame. I just built a Cove Handjob and completely satisfied. But I would like to see some Chromag pics as well so post up.

Hello !
I've now a Samuraï in L size. I had previousely a Samuraï second hand in M size and it was a little bit short for me. I've ordered the new frame by my idol-guitarist and now bike shop owner in BC. For my frame, I was in contact too with Ian Ritz, the owner of Chromag and he was very friendly and professional. I can't enough recommend his frames and accessories, they are the best for me. My bike is mounted like this :
Chromag Samuraï L size frame, Magura Laurin FCR 130 fork, DT Swiss EX 5.1D rims with DT 240 hubs and DT RWS axles, Conti MT King tires, Chromag bars-seatpost-seatpost colar, RF Atlas stem, Profile Racing crank with Ti axle and RF chainrings, Shimano XTR shifters-derrailleurs-cassette-chain, Chris King headset, SDG Bel Air (now WTB) saddle, RF grips. This is a super MTB for Hard XC and All Mountain and it rides amazingly in my country, here in Switzerland.
I've a picture of this bike, but I can't and don't know how to post it.

Thanks for your interests. ;-)

I am 5ft ten, blue eyed and short legged.
I like cats, reading good books, listen to music and go shopping with friends. My favorite color is green. A greyish green. Or maybe it is more of a greenish grey ...

The chromag is slightly under 27lbs fat with those amazing extra strong sidewall Tioga DH-tires and slightly under 25lbs with cliplees pedals and reasonable not yet lightweight tires.

Hope, some of the informations are of any use for you guys ;-)

cheers

Me too, so I guess a Medium Chromag would work for me just fine ;) Yours looks good but I think the Samurai would be more like what I'd need.

(cats aren't too bad. The only thing with dogs is that you have to go out with them whatever the weather.)

Similar situation here. 6', 35" inseam, in love with Samurai. I guess the large would be the size I need but I'm afraid about standover height. So I was searching for pictures of Chromags in L-size.

@pooka: gorgeous Sakura!

Greb, we are the same size and have the same inseam.

If I take a stylus, that's be a Med, can't quite get my mind around going Med for a SAmourai though. In that case I'd say that Lrg is the way to go
