I rode White Mesa today... wow.. was the ridge (dragon's back) windy. The seat of my pants gauge says the gusts were 30-40 mph... probably a nice 10-20 sustained the whole time I was on that section. The temperatures were great, but could have lived w/o the wind!!! We took 2 beginners out there last Sunday and all I can say is I'm glad it wasn't windy then, like it was today.

Anyhow, hope the wind dies down for you guys... and either way... have a great time out there... gotta love these temps this time a year (unless of course if you'd like to go skiing/boarding!!). Happy xmas eve!

PS. Look out for a pair of drunks in an old pickup on the top of dragon back... I kept wondering if they were going to plow me over after I went by them!!
