They fit on a shimano cassette body. Prior to the SS incarnation it used to hold an XT cassette.. now a King cog.

I'm planning on buying one, so I wrote Chris King myself, and they said that they are compatable with Shimano free hubs. So that would make them "pretty much" universal, of course there will be exceptions but ya. There ya go

Sweet.......I ordered a 15 and 17 tooth Surly from Speedgoat. When I picked them up, they gave me two 15 tooth. I pointed out the mistake, but they didn't have any more Surly in stock, so they gave me the CK instead for the same price. $20 versus $42. Nice one Speedgoat!

You might also check out Endless cogs (see www.speedgoat.com). They make a nice aluminum cog for less than a CK. Same nice wide base to prevent gouging of the fh body.
I am running an endless bike Kick-Ass-Cog right now, along with endless bike's Fibonacci Spacer Kit. They are both really high quality. Zero problems so far.
