Chisel expert 2019 dropper post...here we go again

Anyone who had swapped the offset post ( original ) with an inline dropper post and couldn't get the bike fit back the way it was before ? Is it about the " modern geometry " ? I can't get the saddle back enough. Any experience on it ? Cheers 🍺
