China Camp pre-show ride...

So, Wilco's playing at the Greek Theater on Saturday night. Heading down from Reno, picking up a friend in Auburn, thinking of getting a ride in at China Camp before the show. Anywayz, what's this a hear of a "backside" to China Camp? We've ridden the place a couple times, doing (what I think is) the full "regular loop" in a counter-clockwise direction. Pretty fun, but if there's some different stuff (hidden?) that'd be pretty cool to check out. Any tips from you "loc's" out there? Thx in advance.

Your best bet is to hook up with a local to show you the trail tips, but they're all jerks of course.

I'd be concerned about having bikes out or on your vehicle anywhere near the Cal campus at night, BTW. Firsthand experience x2 there.

Yeah, that's what I hear. Them guys have gotten so mean, us hillbillies are comin' on down there to kick some patagucci-clad yuppie a$$. Just kidding.

I hear ya on the sticky fingers down in Berkeley. We got a hotel room for pretty much the sole reason of stashing the bikes during the show.

Just ride Redwood/JMP/Chabot in Oakland, or better, ride in Tilden/Wildcat and ride there from your hotel in Berkeley. Tilden/Wildcate are right behind the theater (well, not exactly, but close) (except for that climb).
