China Camp ride Saturday 12/17 for some fun singletrack, prizes, games, beer and farm animals!

Meet at the Ranger Kiosk @ around 9.00 am ish? Time changes wlecomed to occupy max. amount of people, more the merrier

We can do 1 loop, 2 if youre feeling good. Or do 1 loop and some backside

Anyone up for riding? Thinking about doing Annadel Sunday too.

I'd prefer a slightly earlier start time, say either 0830 or 0900, but I'm flexible on that.

I vote for spending some quality time with the 'other side'...

bumped it to 9 am, earlier is better for me. We can always wait around for slackers for another 15 minutes .

The 'other side' it 'tis, never done it so I am game.

If i get there at 10:30 i can be at the top in about 40 min. Would love to ride Hitler, you guys should be on your way back up Gold Hill about then. I can PM my cell phone meet you at nike or top of Corcus. Take Bay Trail right off the fire road that joins the fire road where the regular Bay Trail dumps out. Bomb the fire road to Miwok then back to camp ground do the inside loop back to parking road??

Hey, I'm normally out there a bit earlier and finishing up around 9 or 10 on the weekends, but I'm actually riding in the afternoon tomorrow. I'll hook up with some of you one of these days. I'll look for signs of your carnage on the trail named after a WWII dictator, I had a nasty endo in some gnarly roots last time I rode that trail (but I usually pass on that trail since it is really badly eroded.) Have fun!

It looks like the morning is the time to ride tomorrow, NWS is forecasting 'chance of rain' by the afternoon. Hopefully a little overcast will bring the temps up a few degrees. It's been friken' cold in the East Bay today!

If all parties are amenable, I would be keen on riding up to Nike, then hitting most of the singletrack on the backside before finishing up with the Bayview/Shoreline front side loop. That should make for a nice three-hour tour (if you're slow, like me) of the finest China Camp has to offer.

If anybody wants to try the drops off of Nike, I'll bring my camera.

Dogonfr, if you still want to try and hook up, we should be back up to Nike around 11 AM or so, and you could finish out the loop with us. But that would mean climbing to Nike and not partaking of the bountiful backside, and that kinda suks.

Nomad for Hitler fer shure. If we hookup at Nike there are a couple sweet runs meeting Bay View, deffinatly want some travel. Tonight my son say he is riding tommarow, well see!!
