Ran the GoPro HD in 2 second burst mode. Here's what it captured when I was blinded by the setting sun while riding a tight trail:

Yup. I've noticed that because the mount can rotate it will allow the Garmin to spin and possibly avoid damage. Knock on wood.

Oh, didn't notice until I was gathering up, that my sunglasses had been flung about 10' farther down the hill. Almost ate it a second time trying to recover them.
