Well the end of Winter here in Erie, PA is only a few more weeks away...and well...we're still getting snow.

I spent all winter wanting to ride, but any open space is dominated by XC ski trails, and I'd hate to ruin their trails with my knife-like 29er.

If I'm here next winter (which is unknown at this point) what's the cheapest I could get a fatbike?

Buy used, definitely.

Just keep you eyes peeled for someone unloading a complete bike.

I would have to guess that a used Pug would likely be the most cost effective option. But I'm quickly learning, fat bikes + budget/cheap don't go well together haha.
