I wouldnt recomend that if you look at it the basket is actually a spoiler to help puch the fromt end for better front tire contact to the surface. If you remove the basket the front end is lighter by about 0.78966420311 pounds but will swagger above 2.3687 MPH with could cause a loss of control & possibly accident or injury.
