Yeah I have plenty of that. May not be as durable as you'd like it to be though.

I used to use solder but with all those coatings they put on it's hard to get any of it to flow onto the wire even after an attempt at cleaning the surface.

There's JensonUSA's selection of crimps. Cheapest they come is $18 for 500 black crimps. Sure they're $.03 each but I don't think I'd ever use 500 total in my life. :p

Universal does sell silver ones in bags of 10 for $2.50

But anything online in that price range will cost more for shipping than the actual order.

You can get small packages of black or chrome plated cable crimps in any store that carries salt water fishing tackle. They are used for making wire leaders. They come in several inside diameters so measure your cable diameter to get the right size.
