I will be in Charlotte for a few days this weekend. Weather Sat. looks good, but it is drippy here in the mountains today. What would be the best ride venue for a spin on Sat?

Thanks for all the hard work by the Tarheel Trailblazers and anyone who has worked on trails there making this an opportunity for me, keep up the good work.

It depends on where you're staying in the Charlotte area or how far you're willing to drive. I'd recommend going to Poston Park or USNWC if you're on the westside or Poplar Tent on the east side or Anne Springs on the southside.

We just opened a new section at Poston that's pretty sweet.....mountain'esque climb next to a rocky creek with a killer optional log-ride at the top. It's still a little soft and needs grubbing in spots but it's worth checking out.

Thanks for the responses. The weather down here is better than up in the mountains, so maybe all areas will be open. If that turns out to be the case, I will likely ride at LANO and/or Sherman Branch. Maybe we can stop at Poston on our way back home on Sunday as it looks to be on the way.
