An alternative solution to my post below...
I have a Manitou Skareb (I think it's the comp model - with air, lockout, but no SPV) with 100mm travel. What is involved in changing this fork to 80mm travel? If it's a kit, where can I get one?
If I do this, I want to make sure the fork height is equivalent to a 'normal' 80mm fork. My commuter bike was designed for 60mm orignally, so I don't want to put more than 80mm on it. Would this be the case with this modified fork?
