Good morning all

I have a Giant tough road sr2, I don't use the two smaller gears in the from just the biggest and have not had a reason to use the smaller one.
The crank set is a Shimano FC-MT210, 22/32/44, I was thinking of just
installing a single 44 tooth gear, What do you guys think
and can you use the same crank and just swap out to a single gear?

Just take the chain, put it on the big ring, take off the front shifter/derailleur.
I'm not sure if the other rings are removable - they may be stamped on. At some point, you could replace the crank, if the cross chaining is too much..

I was looking at the pictures of the crank and it looks like I would have to replace the crank they look stamped.

yeah the chainrings are riveted to the crankarms. the rivets probably could be drilled out with some effort.

Thanks for the input, Im thinking of replacing the front crank so I can change the tooth number
