Is there any one that has changed the oil on the ETA side of a 2004 MX Comp ETA? If so, what are the steps to do it right?

Here goes...

It is really easy, just take off the cap and compression nut (might need to place the ETA lever again just to keep the rod from spinning), take the spring out... flush the oil out.... and pour the new oil in.... reassemble and go ride!!! (Oil level should be between 45 and 55 mm from the top of the threads of the top cap)

I'm still trying to get the spring out...is there any thing I am missing?

not really sure what the problem could be.... just try to make sure to put the ETA lever so that the rod doesn't rotate with the nut..

I made the mistake of removing the top cap from the coil/ETA rod. I also removed the spring when I added the oil. Here's the problem. I put the Spring Limiter screw back on with no problems. When I try to tighted the top cap onto the nut, the only place to grab is the limter screw. Obviously, I can't tighten without loosening the other so I'm screwed!
