Is it possible to convert an 80mm-travel Fox F29 to 100mm of travel? Is it as simple as removing a spacer?

Are the 80mm and 100mm models really the same thing, but for the spacer?

Nope. You can go from 100 to 80, but if the fork is already ann 80, it wasn't designed the same as the 100. You can take it down as far as 60 or 70 though.

Well darn. I made the dumb assumption that they were the same fork just need to add or remove spacers to adjust the travel. I should have bought the 100. I'd really like to see how the 100 would work on my EMD.
