When/where will there be chances to demo bikes again on actual trails? I went to Jorbafest 2011, but I got there quite late. I did manage to test ride a high end $4000+ 29er Gary Fisher Superfly, which is way beyond my budget level.

Next year perhaps I would like to upgrade and I need to start getting test rides in now, because there are not many opportunities to test ride anywhere else but the parking lot and pavement adjacent to a bike store.

take a look on manufacturers websites. most usually have some sort of link to a demo tour in the summer months.
