Yeah, I was actually impressed at how thick and sturdy the sidewall felt. whether or not this will reduce the chance of sidewall tears and cuts, I cannot say. I think it does account for the weight of the tires being kind of portly. The tread was pretty minimalist.
Its a cool product, but given the amount of much lighter and more well established tread patterns that are available, its not really something that I would consider.

Thanks for the info. It's pretty hard to go against the Schwalbe Racing Ralph tubular (if you want to spend a bit less and have something more durable) or the Dugast Rhino.

I refuse to run a Tufo. :) Like riding bricks.
