I have a DRS (dual ring chainguide) and want to use a 22-36 or 22-38 up front...will this be ok? I read somewhere that there is a 10 tooth limit between gears, but not sure if I believe this as I have a bike that is 22-32-44. I will be using an XTR front deraileur.

Thanks.

I cannot see why it would be a problem either. I run a DRS with a 22/32 combo and slightly increasing the diameter of the bigger ring would have a totally negligible effect on the chain feeding onto the ring through the f der. There is a much bigger difference between a hardtail and a sagged FS in terms of f der alignment than between a 32 and 36 tooth ring I bet. A 22 to 38 is a big jump in gearing though...
