Hi, i have a Hightower V2. Need to replace the 30t with 28t chainring and I have to choose the offset. Do not know what offset is the actual 30t. Any suggestions?

If it is a 12 speed probably 3mm.

Boost spacing is 3mm (which yours should be). Non boost is 6 mm. You can buy the steel replacement rings for <$20 each to experiment with chain line if you want. I think if you take the current ring of it should have offset printed on there somewhere.

Thank you guys! The problem is that is really hard to find 28t chainring 12s 3mm offset. I can just find the oval shaped! Not really convinced to buy that..

Given that i couldn't find the 28t rounded shape chainring on the web (i checked Italian online shops) i decided to give it a try the oval shape. Let's see how it goes for me
