what options are there for triple ring chainguide setups. i have seen the heim 3 but it looks kinda cheap. has anyone used one of these before? i like my third ring up front but might consider going with two. do you guys feel that you have enough pedal control at high speeds with only two rings in front?

I have a Heim that has been in use for about 2-3 years now on various bikes and I can assure you it's quite durable and works very well. If 3 rings are your thing I highly recommend it.

In answer to your other question about going to 2 rings, it's really personal preference and based more on the terrain you ride. If you use your big ring allot now on DH sections, you may want to keep it. If not then going to a 2 ring setup would probably be a better option. For 2 ring guide I highly suggest you check out the E13 DRS and MRP LRP. Good luck.
