I am looking for a chain tug to use on my SS. It needs to work on forward-facing horizontal dropouts. I've found a few BMX tugs and I was wondering if any of them would work. Also wondering if anybody else made these sort of tugs.

Get a tug that's made of aluminum and that has two tensioning screws. What you want to do is grind off the tab that normally slots into the dropout so the tug lies flat. The two set screws keep it from sliding around the back of the dropout. I use one of these.
