Hey Guys,

I'm looking to get a chain tensioner for my Giant Trance X2 2014, i find that my chain is skipping around quite a bit on the rougher terrain, however my LBS doesn't carry those kind of parts so i was wondering if you guys have any suggestions of products that work well ?

Thanks a mil.

Maybe the Bionicon C.Guide? Priced right and easy to install.

Does the X2 have a clutch derailleur? That helps too. /edit: yes it does. Huh. What did the LBS say about the issue? Or better, what exactly is happening? Hate to armchair diagnose, but sounds a little odd. Is the chain skipping gears in the back or are you just trying to keep it from slapping the stay? If the former, then maybe the chain is too long. If the latter, then the guide (or just some tape on the arm) would do ya.
