Chain stay protector for bendy stays? (Furio frame)

I need a chain stay protector for my Bad Boy frame, but not sure how well a vinyl/carbon one would go on with the bendy chain stay. Don't want to go for a neoprene one because don't think it looks right on a road bike.

Has anyone fitted a vinyl or carbon one to their Furio frame?
