Hey all,

I'm going to be visiting Vero Beach for a week some time between January and March of 2008, and i'd love to get a break from the Colorado winter and put some hours in the saddle and hopefully get a mountain bike race in as well.

I'm wondering if someone could point me in the direction of some good XC race resources for the area, and if there are fun trails to ride in the Vero Beach area. I understand that next year's schedule won't be out yet, but i'm just trying to get a flavor for what to expect.

It seems like there are some cross races going on around then, which is ok, but i'd rather be racing the mtb if that's possible.

January might be considered winter, but down here March is either Spring or Summer. Temps in the 80s is typical of March. Of course that beats the 90s of mid-summer...

Average high in March is 75....... not 80s. Florida March is perfect.
