Center loc rotor w/Hayes caliper

I am looking for a firm yes or no.
I want to build a wheelset with Hugi 240S single speed hubs. It just about as light as you can get for a SS specific hub. It will only take centerloc discs though. I want to stick with my Hayes caliper/levers. I know QBP make adapters. but I am going for a clean look also. So XTR discs with Hayes, will it work for sure.
All info I can find leads to yes, they are the same diameter. I don't know about brake track or rotor width.
Thanks

I can't give a firm yes or no, but I will spar on some conversation.

I think shimano has typically gone with a narrower braking track, like hope. This isn't a problem when running rotors with larger tracks and shimano or hope calipers. But I do not know if it creates any issues going the other way.

FWIW rotor thickness doesn't make much difference since the pistons locate themselves by pressure. Same thing as their accomodating pad wear.

I'm using Hayes G2 Caliper with XT center lock disc. And the answer is a yes.
Tried the XTR but it's howling so switched to the XT disc..
