...and i did a CCCX last October..and I'm wondering if the courses are still a xc/am set-up, or are they actually real dh courses now?

...I've heard that they are getting somewhat more related to actual dh courses

No, theyre pretty much the same. Lots of pedalling, some uphill sprint, and 5 to 7 min runs. Plus hiking up is suck a B!tch

Super D all the way but it is the only series that is close enough for our group. I don't think they are allowed to cut new trails or add features and making it more technical may not boost participation anyway.
