You could drive to Emerald lake last weekend. The 200 yards from there to the pass is super easy.

I was gonna try it in my truck, just wasn't sure I could make it back over the snow with my bald tires.
There are tire tracks over the last snowbank though.

Rode 401 this morning, everything was in great shape. There were some stutter bumps up top, but nothing too bad. The rode and the single track threw the trees were clear.
