UGI: the first human virus determined to be spread via the internet...

Thank you very much Beast, Fo. Damn you both. And thanks too to my Pusher Man... err LBS proprietor, for planting that seed during a DK ride last fall.

*note the trail dust? Excruciatingly detailed and obsessive ride report to follow...

very, very sweet looking. I love the frame and fork colors.

by the way, what parts are the good folk on mtbr responsible for in terms of the peer pressure put on you that of course you were not able to resist? and dont feel bad, the local UGI chapter on the Ventana board is becoming larger by the day...

cheers

Coming from you, uh, thanks... I think.

Oh, and back at cha, take in the color of your next fork. It'll look nearly as good against blue..

no sir....what I should have said is

"....if my wife ever gives me my wallet back and receives a year pass to the local country club spa and then allows me to buy another bike part, I would remove the lowers and have them painted the same color as my lovely AM 1 :)"

The beauty of the current single speed build Larry is doing for me (last one for a long, long time I assure you) is that I convinced her that since it is just a simple single speed, it is really not that expensive since you don't need a lot of other parts and stuff ;)

but......if you were doing a 1:1 swap then it would be ok? 1 year to a CC would be a good swap for the 36, dontcha think?

You, my friend, need a triple top secret credit card billed to your work address!

Now would be a good time to get that lovely Blue SS from Sir Larry since Beast is swimming with Nemo down in the Caribbean. Larry likes your PW so much that he ordered two and is currently trying to talk me into buying the spare.

I lusted for a PW a while last fall and was going to trade-up my Surly for one. But then the fork itch set in, and, well... the result is pictured above. I like to think of it in terms of all the money I saved!

Here is the picture of my frame alongside Squeak's new frame. By the way, I am keeping my Surly I got off ebay and am making it a full time fully rigid bike.....for when I feel like a real man (not very often but twice last weekend and it sure was fun passing the geared riders!).

Cheers

Yeah, those are pretty nice, but if I were gettting one I wouldn't settle for one that was all smudgy and blurred.

I'm going more travel these days, not less.
At this rate, I'll be on a VPP Free soon.

Then again, next winter it would be nice to have something that doesn't get all junked up from the snow & mud. Hmmmm.............
