Yes, registration is open for the Cascade Cream Puff!

Registration is now open for the 15th annual Cascade Cream Puff (100 mile mountain bike race)!

Founder, and 4th year returning Race Director, Scott A. Taylor will be running the show again this year.

It will be a 2 lap course this year (permit dependant). Basically the same course as 1998. Maps will be posted at CCP site CascadeCreamPuff.com at a much later date, don't worry be happy! Still approximately 50% single track! A little less climbing this year, maybe only 15,000 feet (sorry to dissapoint).

Staging and roll out the same as last year (details to follow much later). Look at Race Info under Info & maps tab for last years data: http://www.cascadecreampuff.com/2009info.htm You can also find general info at Directors Corner: http://www.cascadecreampuff.com/directors_corner.htm

REGISTRATION LIINK: http://www.cascadecreampuff.com/Registration/CCP100_entry_2010.pdf
Make sure to fill out both pages completely (legibly please). Sign and date release form. Send in 3 self addressed stamped (my back up plan).

Eat, drink and be merry! Also, riding your bike is probably a good idea!

Looking forward to another awesome year at the "Puff". http://www.cascadecreampuff.com/

I'm in too, after a one-year hiatus from this amazingly well-run race.

Come on, Scott, how about a super-vague, general course description, or even a link to something describing the 1998 course?

The weather up here is awful for biking, AND awful for skiing, so some "daydreaming material" would be much appreciated!

I'd love to come and try this race from the elevationally challenged east coast. I've got a bid in for Leadville and if that doesn't come to fruition the CCP 100 is high on my list.

No singletrack @ Leadville

Cascade Cream Puff = 50% [or more] singletrack.

Leadville = The race is an out-and-back course. The majority is on back-country dirt roads with some short sections of paved road. The entire course is above 9,000 ft with six well-supplied aid stations.

To each his own. I choose:

I know leadville is a boring course but it's one of those races that I want to say that I've done. This is my first year attempting the lottery so I'm assuming that I won't get in. I'd much rather get some ST in if I had my choice. Either way I'll still be doing the Cohutta 100, Mohican 100, Wilderness 101, and Shenandoah 100 - so I'll have my singletrack fix just in case

The other benefit of CCP would be...

you can breath! :) Just saying Leadville's elevation gets me winded.

My entry is in for the Puff as well....looking forward to it!

Red Covered Bridge up and over SaddleBlanket and back down to the Red Covered Bridge. Repeat. Grab hat.
