I'm going to carvins cove this weekend for the 3rd time. I think i rode hi dee ho, the fire road, and maybe the gauntlet, then some lower trail to get back to the parking lot last time. I was wondering if u guys had any good dh loops that would take a few hours? (other than what i rode)

There are tons of riding route options at the cove. Rather than restate what has been posted here many times already, do a quick search on the cove. I know at least two very informative threads exist - one thoroughly details out each trail, and recommends riding routes. Enjoy.

up hi-dee-ho (hike and or pedal what you can) - down gauntlet (end of buffed out smooth section hike up the old trail and ride a few features). fireroad to bottom of trough (session the FR section for a few times) continue to upper fireroad and take a left to Buck. descend buck and take a right onto Hotel back to the lot.

Pretty good outing right thurrr

What day? I could be free for a ride like this on saturday

I like the loop that goes up either Hi-Dee-Ho or Brushy Mountain Trail (fire road, a lot easier than Hi-Dee-Ho which can be a brutal way to start the day), down Gauntlet, up Trough, Down Buck's Rut, back to the lot on Hotel. Of course, Hi-Dee-Ho is a blast to go down, so you may want to throw that in there as well.
