I have a Carver version of a Newsboy that I absolutely love. The thing is,I have a set of I9 wheels on it. The rear hub setup on this frame is 135X10 quick release. I want to put an axle in it that will bolt up,for a little extra strength. I9 has been much less than helpful with this issue.Do any of you guys have any ideas who might make something like that? Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Hadley makes them.

I'm using one of these on my first gen Ibis Mojo C, really stiffens up the back end of the bike. Be sure to use anti-seize compound on the threads or it will get stuck. It has aluminum on aluminum threads.

This only works on hubs designed for a 10 mm diameter thru-axle. Not sure if I9 hubs use a "roadie" QR skewer or not. If so, maybe they have replaceable end caps to become thru-axle compatible.

Good luck..
