Anyone do any endurance racing on a Carver or other 96er. Just getting back into MTBing (after a year of riding road exclusively). Prior to that I was a big 29er fan. But the 96er seems like it be a better solution for endurance events with a lot of climbing - like Leadville.

I do a couple of endurance races a year and I have ridden the Carver 96er several times at different times of the year. The only thing that keeps me off a Carver is the aluminum frame. A very rigid rear end that gets to me after 25-30 miles.

But that all may be changing. Carver has titanium frames coming out in February.
