There's plenty of info and examples of people going from alloy to carbon, but I'm actually looking to do the opposite, and wondering if anyone did the same, and if so, was it noticable and/or impact comfort.

I was looking at the Renthal Fatbar with matching stem to replace the Phoenix ones that came stock on my bike. I ride a lot of park, but mostly blue flow trails with average, bike park sized jumps. And I'm only 155lbs so the bars aren't taking a ton of impact.

I know carbon bars, along with many other carbon components, have become a lot more reliable and stronger in the past few years, but you read stories and it's hard not to imagine worst case scenario. If anyone went from carbon to alloy, especially for enduro/downhill use, I'd really appreciate your opinion.

Thx!
