I'm swapping my Niner carbon fork for either an 80 or 100mm for the Winter months. I like the angle of the Niner fork but I don't know if its built off of a 80mm or 100mm design. If someone could fill me in I would appreciate it.

I have a Niner Air 9 frame and there shouldn't be a problem with either config I just want to keep the angle as close as possible.

Thanks Folks

Niner carbon fork axle to crown is 470mm

My Reba 100's are 500mm less 20% sag of 20mm = 480mm approximately

At 80mm they would be around 465mm

In your situation I would go with 100mm Reba's, you can always put the spacer in to drop them to 80mm if you want. You can also play with positive and negative air pressures to reduce travel, increase sag etc.

That's just the information I needed, thanks.

I've never messed with my fork settings before. I typically just buy what the manufacturer recommends and move on,but I liked how the bike felt with the rigid fork. I just have my doubts about the mud and rain this fall.

Thanks again
