Guessing this came out of some overseas factory. But, got it for 200 bucks new, figured what the heck. I'm usually pretty good with older stuff, but not sure who built this one.

If anyone has one and knows seat post size, f.der size, BB shell width, those would be quite helpful.

From that angle it looks a bit like my old OCLV, but the headtube might be different.

Can you post a close up pic of the headtube, the cable stops on the toptube and the deraileur hanger?

Good call, looks like that model was available 1994 through 1996. Without components, I'm not sure how to tell which year. The '94 specs at the link below don't show color, but both the '95 and '96 were black...

I'm actually thinking now it's a 95, since it's bonded. Just wondering who built this thing for Mongoose, not sure how many taiwan factory's were doing carbon frames a decade ago.

Not sure if it was someone like Bik, but I think they were doing bladder built models. Any other clues would be great.

I'm farily certain Merida made carbon road and mountain frames for Mongoose - specifically the dual top tube models. Not sure about yours, but it's a good guess.
