Anyone spent anytime researching and/or testing upright roof racks (Yakima King Cobra or Thule Sidewinder) with Endomorphs? How about wide rims (80mm)? I've read the manufacturer's specs, but I'm interested in seeing what you Pug owners have done to date.

I'm thinking a rear hitch rack (that grabs the top tube) is all I will be able to get away with. Thoughts?

We have an old Rak-N-Loc hitch rack in the garage, which I know will work.

I need to choose an upright rack for my subaru, and want to take my future fatbike into account before choosing one or the other.

The Thule Criterium upright roof racks work well. You have to take off the plastic tire mounts that work for most bikes and strap the big tires on with your own straps, but the bikes go off, or on, the rack in a few seconds.
