Anybody ever get the Lefty Solo-air upgrade that replaces the springs from the Cannondale service center? :skep:

I had my 08 lefty sl upgraded with the solo air two weeks ago, seems to work smoother, but up to know done not much riding, so yet have to really test in the field...

to be honest, I didn't check the weight, but the guy from the shop that did the upgrade, did say it should be somewhat lighter, but they also performed a team tuning so, it's difficult to say where exactly it lost the weight...

This kit change all the old cartrige or only the pring? How mutch is it?

I think it's the whole cartridge, normal price was about 110 euro, but in combo with the team tuning, I had to pay only 60 euro.
Complete check up, replacement of used parts such as races and needle bearings, solo air upgrade, replacement of sock with slimmer model and team tuning cost me about 320 euros.
They replaced the bottom air valve ( new model ) and a part of the oil cartridge under warranty.
performed by eighty-aid Belgium, I'm very happy with their service :thumbsup:

What is the Team Tuning?

they give the lefty the same tuning as the CFR team gets, shaves off some weight, dirfferent springs... don't know exact what is changed...

I was under the impression from Cannondale Service that they used only one self-adjusting spring.
