Currently running an RS Sektor with 150 mm travel and I'm planning to change it with a new Pike 160 dual position.

My question is, can I get the 27.5 one for a better choice in future upgrades or the extra 10 mm added in axle to crown will mess up the ride?

Axle to crown :
Sektor : 528 mm
Pike 26“ : 542 mm
Pike 27.5“ : 552 mm

I wouldn't mind a slighty slacker angle since I ride pretty steep terains, but nothing to extreme that will change the way it rides in a bad way

I think you should better get the 26" so you don'y change the geometry much. You could also try getting the 27.5 version but fitting a 27.5 wheel. This way you get slacker HT, good roll over obstacles, and a 26 inch back tire will still be playfull. But I would ask in the cannondale forum first if the frame can handle it.
