A few days ago I purchased a Cannondale CAD 3 for my son. Bike meeting his outline of requirements, It was rejected because of age. The bike, not me! I think it's a better bike for the money than a new one. I'm fairly sure of the age of bike but not model. frame code is as follows, location bottom of crank left side [G I B1-0302 ] under GI, and numbers are [ 144331 ] on the right side are as follows [16399] under that [ 6FLSWM ] Thanks in advance, Greg.

Check out this site:
http://www.vintagecannondale.com/info.html

If it doesn't have the info you need, email the info to Cannondale (address on their website) and they should be able to give you all the details on what the bike is.

Thanks jdr01930 1996 F1000 for sale soon on ebay

Thanks, called Cannondale; their serial numbers only supply info on month and year of manufacture. I got that from vintage, also looked at catalog at vintage to confirm F1000.
Greg.
