Hello everyone. I just picked up a used Cannondale F500 yesterday. It is used and but it top shape. I payed $200 for it. Good price? Also, is there anyway that I can tell what year it is? Some kind of a serial number or something? I can't wait to take it out as soon as possible. He also included a set of new tires with it. I am going to get Abington Wheel Wright to install and do a tune up and check everything over for me. I mete Miko before and he was a great guy so I am going up there.

Any comments on the bike or anything would be greatly appreciated.

Serial number code: first two digits are the size, next 6 are date of manufacture, remainder are unit number. For instance: SN#54021787121 indicates a 54 cm frame, built on February 17, 1987, #121

Once you have that figured out, feel free to post the year of the frame and the components on it.
