Ive been mountain biking for about a year now but dont no much about bikes. And would obviously like too, thats why i joined this forum. But I was wondering... I have a cannondale f5 with rockshox recon coil forks and obviously no rear suspension. Is it bad for me to go off 2- 2.5 ft drops onto flatground? As in bad for the bike I mean. Cause i have been.

Obviously, the harder you ride it, the shorter it's life will be. Does that mean you should never let the wheels leave the ground? Definitely not.

How much do you weigh?

yea you will be fine with 2-2.5ft drops, but keep in mind every drop you do will weaken your rims/spokes a little bit and will decrease its life.

But then again you have a mtb, don't worry about that crap
